I've been around the blogging traps for a while having authored many a blog in the past.
Right now I am concentrating mainly on my freelance and fiction writing at http://www.jfgibson.com.au and now also here. I have four gorgeous girls, two teenage step daughters and two younger munckins. Yes. Life is busy as a mother, business owner x 2, writer, blogger and designated cook/cleaner/taxi driver. They say variety is the spice of life! I don't know about that, but it does make for an interesting journey.
My husband introduced me to cycling when I met him. At first I was like most uneducated cycle watchers and couldn't understand the dynamics of how it all worked. What? You ride your guts out for 200km and then let your team mate win? Yes. As I said, uneducated. When I finally 'got it' I discovered the most amazing sport in the world.
So here I am a little more educated these days, and captivated by sport of cycling and loving sharing my passion.
You'll find me blogging here during the Grand Tours and of course our very own TDU as well as different times throughout the year. Sporadic yes, but hopefully interesting at the very least.
Watched a couple of stages of the TDF with my dad (not long after my mum died and he had to take me with him OS poor bugger)in the early 60s, I have followed Grand Tours ever since and especially the Giro (which I saw a few over the top stages in my early 20s). So been listening (first crystal sets then shortwave now the internet) for about 50years. Now that is tragic :(
ReplyDeleteReally enjoy individual points of view (rather than the usual regurgitated opinions) and hence my interest in your blog, very entertaining thank you.
I hate commentators who think they own the pro-peloton - FFS it is as much MINE!!
